About Mandy Bradshaw
"Do you know that crazy, funny girl Mandy Bradshaw?" That's how I'm always described to other people. I've been loud and outgoing my whole life! I was even voted funniest girl in my senior class. My dad is very outgoing and funny, and that's who I get it from. When I was little, everybody called me Mouth of the South, and my grandpa always told me I had diarrhea of the mouth.
I was born in Orlando, Florida, and I've lived here all my life. I went to Longwood Elementary School and Milwee Middle School, and I graduated from Lyman High School. It's neat that it worked out that way because a lot of the kids that went to elementary school with me graduated with me too. I was sixth in line in my family to graduate from Lyman.
A continuous event in my life is my purity. I'm a freshman in college, experiencing my first boyfriend, and I just received my first kiss about two months ago (and it was so worth the wait!) I am constantly praying for my future husband. I want to be as pure as possible for him. My life will be blessed because I am doing the right thing by following God's perfect plan!
I have lots of interests. If someone asked me to pick anywhere to go, I would choose Disney World! I guess you could say that I'm a lot like a kid because a lot of my interests are child-like, and I love anything funny. I have tons of favorite movies. I love Tommy Boy, Wayne's World, The Goonies, and The Sandlot. My favorite TV shows are Seinfeld, Friends, The Wonder Years, 7th Heaven, Saturday Night Live, and A Wedding Story. I enjoy listening to quality singers such as Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, and Nat King Cole. I love listening to big band, swing type music. It's all so fun!
I enjoy active activities very much. My new favorite thing is swing dancing, and I think I'm addicted because it's so much fun! I also love to do aerobics because of the great feeling that comes from it, and I try to get my workout in at least three times a week. I also sing on the worship team at Northland Community Church.
My goals are to graduate from college with a degree in elementary education, get married, become an elementary school teacher, and have three boys. If my husband has a good enough job where I won't have to work, I think it would be so much fun to get paid to work out and become an aerobics instructor. If I do have to work, it's still okay because I'll just be an instructor over the summer.
I'm the way I am because of the way that I was brought up. My parents raised me with strong Christian values. My daddy is always so protective of me, and I'm very thankful for that. My parents have molded me into the woman I am today.
